“It isn't necessary to imagine the world ending in fire or ice. There are two other possibilities: one is paperwork, and the other is nostalgia.”

About

WHAT WE DO

We move through the necessary processes and paperwork after a death to enable you the time needed to grieve and focus on the memories of your loved one. We create implementation strategies, prioritize needs, and quickly make things happen. We reach out to our network of attorneys, accountants, estate sales professionals, appraisers, collectors, charitable organizations, and religious organizations to find the best possible solutions.

Every life has a story. Together we can identify all the ways we can get rid of the noise to help you focus on that story. We want that story to be about the remembrance of a loved one; not about the frustrating hours spent on the phone, the way you were treated by the insurance company, or the hours spent filling out complicated paperwork. The struggle to balance grief and the mounting burdens of estate organization is nearly impossible to do alone.

We are your central contact point, estate concierge, and manager to facilitate a streamlined, efficient process when settling an estate. Contact us today for a free consultation.

HOW IT WORKS

The first step is to schedule a complimentary session to discuss your individual situation, needs, and challenges. This is an important opportunity to find out what's impacting you, what work is needed, and where you are in the process. Since we realize tragedy works on its own schedule, we are flexible with both the time and location of our meetings and are able to provide home consultations and video/phone conferencing. If we can help you with your situation, we will present a plan tailored to your needs and allow you to determine how to move forward. After this, we begin work immediately to ensure the process is completed as efficiently as possible.

We help you save time and money and our fees are reimbursable by the estate.

No two estates are the same. Schedule your free 30 minute consultation today so we can send you an affordable quote that is customized for you and your situation.

Our approach is driven by clients and their needs. By individually crafting plans specific to each situation, we are able to focus on the small details that are traditionally a nightmare in estate management. As a local, privately owned company, we offer the personalized service and care that is necessary when navigating the complexities of legal documents, the intricacies of government agency policies, and the minutiae of probate law. We take the fear and frustration out of knowing what comes next.

TESTIMONIALS

"Erin came to me when I had no answers to problems both troublesome, and many. But a problem solver she proved to be in an atmosphere of friendship and knowledge of what must be done."

Rose L.

Austin, Texas

"Erin was amazing! She is so helpful and kind and although my family is going through a difficult time she was able to help us navigate these uncharted waters. With her positive can-do attitude she gave us several ideas on how to put us in a better place. I just cannot say enough about how fantastic Erin is. If you or a loved one is trying to determine what is next Erin has a ridiculous amount of knowledge and such a great demeanor that I would highly recommend working with her."

Nicolle R.

Texas / Michigan

“Our family was denied life insurance left to us by my father. We evidently claimed the insurance using information from the wrong trust so we were correctly denied. After an initial meeting and a review of the documents not only was this discovered but also other errors with dates. Letters were quickly drafted for us to sign, get notarized and a package was prepared and sent off. We did not receive a written response from the life insurance company but instead we received a check in a few days for the full amount of life insurance plus interest. Without What Comes Next we might still be waiting on that check.”

Susan T.

Atlanta, Georgia

"I worked with What Comes Next after the passing of my mother. We had expected it but we were still caught off guard by it actually happening. It's just me and my father here and we were both emotionally distressed. Erin stepped right in and offered support during our time of need. She told us what we needed to do and how to accomplish it. We were able to stay organized thanks to her assistance. That type of help in a trying time is invaluable, it allowed us to focus on each other instead of paperwork. We will all need this service at times in our life and we are truly thankful that What Comes Next is here. They are truly a wonderful gift.”
